Prefab pools on the islands

A prefab pool is the most practical pool for an island: the panels, the liner and the equipment travel by truck on the ferry, and installation needs no formwork.

We have built pools on Mykonos, Rhodes, Corfu, Lemnos and Salamina. On every island we plan around four things:

  • Water: how the first fill will be done, often with a water tanker truck.
  • Wind: the meltemi in the Cyclades, the afternoon breeze in the Ionian.
  • Transport: the port and the ferry schedules, so that all the materials travel together.
  • Season: work done outside the tourist season.
