Prefab pools on Rhodes
We built a prefab pool on Rhodes in 2020. The island is one of the sunniest in Greece and sees heavy tourist traffic, from Lindos and Faliraki to Ialysos.
Pools here are used from May to October, often even longer.
What we watch for on Rhodes
- Many months of operation: the equipment runs for more months, so we choose a pump with high flow and low power consumption.
- The ferry crossing: the trip from Piraeus is a long one. All the materials are loaded together, so a second trip is not needed.
- Sun and UV: SOPREMAPOOL membranes have built-in lacquer for resistance to ultraviolet radiation and chlorine.

The prefab pool we build
2 mm galvanized steel panels, 1.10 or 1.50 m high, hot-dip galvanized support buttresses and a PVC liner with a 10-year written warranty. Available as a skimmer or overflow pool, and up to 50 m² with a small-scale works approval instead of a building permit. See the sizes.

Can the liner take the Rhodes sun?
Yes. The liner and the membranes are protected against ultraviolet radiation, and the liner comes with a written 10-year warranty.
