Prefab pools in Lagonisi, Saronida and Anavyssos
Along the Athens–Sounio coast road, most houses started out as holiday homes, and many are now lived in all year. That is why we design the pool for use from May to October and for easy closing in winter.
In Lagonisi we built an overflow pool with glass panels in 2019.
What we watch for in Lagonisi, Saronida and Anavyssos
- Closing for winter: a liner pool is never fully drained. We lower the water below the skimmer openings and cover the pool, so the liner stays taut.
- Views over the Saronic Gulf: an overflow gives a mirror of water that visually merges with the sea.
- From holiday home to main home: if the house will be lived in all year, go for a conventional plant room, which is easier to maintain.

The prefab pool we build
2 mm galvanized steel panels, 1.10 or 1.50 m high, hot-dip galvanized support buttresses and a PVC liner with a 10-year written warranty. Available as a skimmer or overflow pool, and up to 50 m² with a small-scale works approval instead of a building permit. See the sizes.

Questions
What happens to the pool in the months we are away?
With a cover and the circulation properly set, the water stays clean. In winter the pool is closed with a lowered water level and a cover, without being drained.
