Prefab pools in Keratea
Keratea has large hillside plots, with low-density building and plenty of sun. We built a prefab pool there in 2020.
On plots far from the village, we look at how power and water will reach the pool from the very first visit.
What we watch for in Keratea
- Utilities: on plots outside the town plan, we check where the plant room will connect to power and how the pool will be filled: from the mains, from a borehole or with a water tanker truck.
- Wind on the hills: on higher ground the wind cools the water. Choose the side of the house that is sheltered from the north wind.
- Sunshine: open plots get sun all day, so the water warms up early in spring without heating.

The prefab pool we build
2 mm galvanized steel panels, 1.10 or 1.50 m high, hot-dip galvanized support buttresses and a PVC liner with a 10-year written warranty. Available as a skimmer or overflow pool, and up to 50 m² with a small-scale works approval instead of a building permit. See the sizes.
